Floor Mats?

Anyone know where we can buy floor mats for the smarts? My dealer is out and does not know when they will have them again. Thanks!

Call around to other dealers if you are willing to pay the shipping. Surely smartUSA can't dictate where you buy your dealer accessories too. Or can they?

I got original smart floor mats at the dealer for U$S49. More or less what you will pay if you get them at ebay in europe.

Got mine (rubber) for $49 at Smart Center of Merriam yesterday.

I'll get the carpet ones when the weather isn't so nasty.

I also plan on getting both sets.
Does anyone know if it's possible to use both at the same time, ie. rubber on top of cloth?

There is a mounting lug (screw) that holds them in place. looks like one set at a time. Many people think that mats cause floor rot by holding mosture under them. i just pull them out once in a while and hang them in the sun when cleaning the car.

While I like the idea of something holding them in place (I hate it when they get all wadded up under the pedals on other cars.) I'm not sure how that would be a problem. I suppose we'll all know soon enough...
