If you want fogs, get them with the car. There is still no aftermarket fog assembly nor a way to reprogram the SAM to tell it they exist. All there is now is a workaround. Should be easy to find the posts! Fogs would give you greater day time visibility to other drivers and could be useful in, well; the FOG!

I don't have the fog lights, as well as a number of OTHER options that I would like to have, because when I configured I chose the "comfort package" before choosing all my options, thus "graying out" the other options. So.......now..........anything that I want ends up costing 2-5 times more than it would have been had I chosen the option initially! So.......my 2 cents is this..........order every option that you can when you configure your car, unless it's something that you know ABSOLUTELY that you DON'T WANT, and even then.............??? For instance, I knew for CERTAIN that I didn't want the tach & clock. Thought they looked weird! Now...........I wish I had gotten them, and I may end up getting them at 2x the cost of what they would have been initially! So IMHO.......configure it with everything possible. It'll also add to the car value later on down the line!!

One of the many, many things I love about my smartie are her peepers. The headlights, perfectly adjusted, project a broad, exactly straight band of sight; a ruler-line defines its ceiling...no glare to the oncoming traffic.

The frog lights add a slightly brighter, noticeably broader band, illuminating the right and left banks of the road like a cat's eyes in the dark.

In actual fog, the low, low frog lights slip under the murkey greyness, without bouncing back at you. Always remembering that the wildlife cross our hiways and byways, I prefer to throttle way down in poor visibility.

My teensy, tiny criticism is that the headlights must be on for the frog lights to work. And truth be told, I drive with my lights on always, so it's really no criticism at all.

Another testament to the superior design and engineering of the fabulous smartie.

$110. It's a no-brainer. In the dark it gives your tiny smart a larger profile. Whenever my lights are on, my fogs are on, too! Why not?
