Fuel Consumption at 90MPH?

Anybody with a ScanGauge ever noticed what the fuel consumption is on a smart when traveling at the top end speed? Working on a project and need this information if anyone would happen to have it. Thanks!

If I lived in the Nevada desert or mid Montana I'd check that for you, but not here. My guess is it will be about 30 MPG.

That's exactly the number I estimated initially, but thought it might be as low as 25 after I thought longer. Thanks for the quick response, Dave.

Thanks!

Thanks, Wdhitch, but be careful. Don't hold speed for long (unless you have a different agenda). Just interested in what the ScanGauge says when you reach that speed (on level ground if possible). Thanks much!

Was just doing 85-90 mph on the way to Madtown today going to the hybrid meet. Had a really good time. Will be going to hybrid fest in July.(had a chevy truck running copblock about a 1/4 mile ahead) Sorry don't have a ScanGuage yet. Gotta get one.It likes running above 80MPH I wouldn't think it would be that bad. But like I said I don't have a SG.

I just wonder how far and how many times it'll roll at 90 mph. This car is an aerodynamic retard at high speed. It is at best uncivilized on the freeway. And yes, I do own one......

No problem with mine going 75 on the highway, does move some in crosswinds but my large truck does also.
