Definitely true. It's just an unscientific average of Fuelly users that own certain 2008/2009 models. Just because the population is using Fuelly would skew the data for all vehicles to the up side since regular Fuelly users are likely to be more conservative, economy conscious drivers. But, it gives people an idea of real world mileage in various conditions averaged over a pool of vehicles to be considered along with EPA estimates and it gives me an excuse to get creative with Excel.
