I remember an 'art show' where they took Yugos and made non-vehicle type things with them; one was a mini movie theatre, one was a phone booth with a giant receiver on top plus a variety of other 'art projects'.

I saw a Yugo in the most recent Hemmings - $2750 "restored".

Our Smarts are the Chevettes of the 21st century. Just better engineered - OK, more like the late 70's-early 80's Opel Kadett. We just have more character. You guys are right, there is a club for pretty much everything. I remember when I had a Saturn - wife said it was like being in a cult there was such a huge following. Now we have the Smart and I agree - it is like being in a cult.

This reminds me of the episode on the 4400 where Lanna is introduced. They place an add looking for those "remembering the 4400" in the paper, and a guy answers. Turns out he's talking about some obscure British car, and is enthused to find someone else into that model of car! LOL!

All it really takes to start a group is a common point of convergence. In this case, it's ownership of the same model car. Just as feasible as a coffee group. Enjoy it!
