Garage for smart

I don"t have a garage to put my ordered smart into. Has anybody put there"s into a lawn storage shed? My door measures 69" tall by 70" wide. Will it fit?

Really small car in really small garage?

"
The Smart Fortwo is small on the outside and big on the inside.
The Smart Fortwo that is available in the United States is:
o 8.8 feet long (you can usually fit two Smart Fortwos in an average parking space!)
o 5.1 feet tall (the Smart still has as much headroom as most luxury vehicles!)
o 5.1 feet wide (two six foot, five inch plus people can sit side by side with plenty of shoulder room to spare!)"
Here are the specs from the Smart USA site.
height

shed 69 inches = 5 ft 9 in
car 61 inches = 5 ft 1 in
width
shed 70 inches = 5 ft 10 in
car 61 inces = 5 ft 1 in
length
shed ? inches = ? inches
car 104 inches = 8 ft 8 in
How deep is the shed? From the comparison above, I think it might be a tight fit. It might stick out if it is longer than the shed. If if does fit, it would be a small garage for a small car.

I think your measurments are off 1 ft
EX. 69 inches = 5 ft 9 in not 6 ft 9 in
6ft 9 in would be 81 inches

Before my Smart came in, I bought a retractable shed from Cosco. It has a tubular steel skeleton that is on wheels and can retract flat. It has a beige canvas cover. I decided to maximise its length to 11' so I needed to remake the canvas cover. Before winter, I am thinking of replacing the canvas with aluminum sheet. Fortunately, I bought it before I picked up my car in late March as I have not seen it for sale since. If I get a chance, I will upload a photo

Garage

I can tell you from experience that the "Bike Barn" holds up well! I have been using one for 5 years now (same one) and it has held up well in bright sun , tornadoes , torrential rain and tons of snow ! It is just now starting to show wear, but the ones they sell now are guaranteed for life! Any one who already has one, you can get a new cover (guaranteed) for $295. A great product at a great price !

It sounds like you could pull into the shed, but then not be able to open the doors to get out.

The Smart is about the same size as a golf cart, so I'll bet this golf cart shed would work just fine.
