Yes. Instead of "highest setting", I suggest the one that takes the longest to fill, or the slowest...
I used the "fastest" setting once, did overfill and got splashed!

In my old car, I always filled it at the highest (fastest flowing) setting and let it shut itself off. I never heard anything about filling it up past that!

Its not that big a tank. I had one pump that kept clicking off at the high speed after just a gallon or two. So I use the slower speed. Even at the slow speed your going to finish before those SUV's that are asking you if its electric.

It's OK to attack someone's ideas, NOT OK to attack the individual

I said that before that other guy posted he overflowed his tank. Foot in mouth as the pump can be the problem too. My words were a little harsh.

Had the 7/8th tank problem. smart tech did two things to fix it. Reflashed the computer and pulled out the dash display to unplug the electrical connector behind it. Plugged it back in and never had a problem since - that is about 6 fill ups ago.

I don't see any problem with the first quote. When quoted in it's full context it does not appear to be an individual attack as it does a generalization.

Why not leave moderating to the moderators?
If there is a problem I am sure they will address it...

Hey now I don't want to be cause of any arguments. This place is for fun and yes it was just a generalization not specific to any person.
