We should have environmentalists pushing our cars anyway.

Why would you think they aren't already?

Even when gas is available I get those looks from the E350 and Chev 4x4 duallies that just put in $200 and know I went as far on $20. Those are the worst at giving the evil eye and talking trash at stops.

It may be to our advantage now that we burn 91+; it is the regular grade (and the regular used to blend mid-grade on-site) that runs out first.

Have fuel @ airport for 7 days. Pipeline is off, and all fuel is being diverted to Texas and New Orleans!! So it will be dry for a few days. Price is still $3.66 at Exxon and Texico, all other are reaping the customers!!! High as $4.39-$5.35. Good Hunting p1nball

earlier this week, gas here in Central Indiana was at $3.53. by the end of the week, it had jumped back up to $3.95 and over the weekend some stations are advertising $4.19!!!!

my concern is that they are running out of gas, know that the pipeline is 'off' so they're jacking up the price to keep people from using so much and keep the stations from running out.

You might want to buy a small hand pump for siphoning gas out of the tank of one car and putting it in another. Handy to have in an emergency!
