Gas: What Brand?

The thread title pretty much says it all: what brand of gas do you use? Or do you just fill up anywhere?

Since I asked, it seems only right that I answer.

There's a Mobil station a block from my house I've been going to for a couple of decades on a regular basis. The next closest station was Exxon. Two blocks away, but the price was generally about 25 cents more per gallon, so why bother? Recently, it changed to Gulf and the prices matched my Mobil, but over on a VW forum I still visit, no one seems to like Gulf.

I posted this question mostly because I was curious to see if anyone is a Sunoco loyalist and if they bother to go with their 93 octane fuel.

For me, Safeway offers a $.10 per gallon discount and in Oregon, Fred Meyer does also. Beyond that it's Chevron, Shell, Union 76 top tier 91 octane or better. If traveling, I'm with jwight; anywhere I can find 91 or better at a good price.

FWIW, I consistently get 2-3 mpg more from Shell and Mobil than I have from any other brand.

Ditto, only for us it's Shell and Chevron, I am trying Mobil this week.
