Get Neanderthal on smartUSA

WHERE IS THE REAL OUTRAGE GIVEN THE 2009 MODEL CHANGES?
Latest 2009 model information

-They added no new engine types[Edit]
The factory warranty apparently remains 2yr/24K

-They have discontinued yellow (allowing us to purchase extra yellow panels $$)

-They are denying the panoramic roof to Pure reservers

-They are finally offering the reds we originally wanted (I think)

-They are adding gray metallic ($), at the expense of yellow

(not a promotion of violence of any kind)

Offering a turbo in 2009 would offset some of that.

i think gray metallic is pretty nice.
i could care less about losing yellow. i don't get the argument that it somehow affects you financially because they discontinued a color. if anything, it makes your yellow go up in value since it was only avail the first model year. lucky you!
if you're buying a pure, then you're probably not concerned with a panorama roof. since pure is a base model, you should get base-level options. you want better options, step up a level. that's how life works.
i don't care about red either.

people would be complaining just as much if they didn't change anything for 2009. sometimes people just want to complain.

the nice thing is, those who want a passion but live in the sun-belt can get the solid roof instead of the panorama that is endlessly complained-about. what will they do in 2009 when they can't complain about the panorama roof and poorly-designed sunshade??????? lol. i anticpate "the cabin is too dark" and "i'm not getting enough sunlight" threads to commence!

the gas door light doesn't help me, but then, alot of people must have a hard time remembering to shut the gas door if they're updating the car with a reminder light! not all owners are smart i guess. lol.

i think door nets are a downgrade, but not a deal-breaker.

So you feel the door nets are a mistake-MORE OUTRAGE!

The passion solid roof option is admittedly a plus, however without a discount (could have been $350 less)

The financial impact of discontinuing yellow, now requires purchasing extra yellow panels ($) and installing them properly ($)

There are probably many folks who would have considered buying a Pure , only if available with panoramic roof

why would it be less? because it's opaque? same labor to install. maybe it's more for opaque but by losing the sunshade it's a break-even venture.

Ha ha ha ... would have been funny if they had decided to charge extra for it. So -- in a way -- it is discounted.
