I would guess that what we are seeing is just a massive flash reflection?
(Ever seen a dog's "Devil Eyes" when the flash is just right?

But, the panels on our smarts ARE translucent (light does come through) especially on the yellow and white panels.

If you put LEDs BEHIND the panels, your smart would glow in the dark and REALLY grab folks attention?

Naw, they really did make a glow in the dark 450.
