Yea, the title was very misleading. I read something about this in my local paper today...but they are no where near a completed deal.

That was the title of the article and the part of the article I copied said that GM would be coming out on top as the main company. Thats not really a merger, thats GM buying Chrysler. Geeze...

Just what we need now - only two giant companies building over-bloated cars, trucks and SUV's instead of three. They crank something out "NEW" with a 24mpg hiway rating and think of it as 'progress' - no wonder they're all sinking. (They get the fleet rating up by building little POS cars.)
Or worse yet - giant hybid SUVs with a 19/20 rating - and call that "PROGRESS" - how arrogant! Let them all sink. . . I certainly hope the Gov't doesn't bail THEM out.
