My garage is HUGE now! Check out the space in front (both rear ends all the way back). And I thought the Prius was a small car.

Seee...last night I could not help but wondering if I could park the smart behind the Avalon if I pull the Avalon all the way up to the front wall. Then we would have the 4-runner, Avalon and fortwo...in the garage...I might try it. IF the Avalon doesnt work, I can try the Camry which sits outside anyway.

Got mine too!

OK wow! I just got mine yesterday. I have never been first at anything in my life, but I got to be the first in Ohio to own a smart car! Hooray for me. What fun, but unfortunately, I think I caused a wreck as soon as I left the dealership. Someone was "admiring" my car and ran into the back of another. Fortuanately, they were coming to a stoplight, so the impact and damage was not much. I guess I should feel guilty, BUT I DON'T. It is truly a fun car to drive and I am anxious to get out there today and tool around town. But the weather here is down around 2 degrees. Will try to let you all know how it holds up in the weather.

Sorry about the oops regarding the leather. Nice to get radio feedback from someone who listens to classical music.

How accessable are the spark plugs? Hate to pay an MB dealer for that pleasure. Are they not installing platinum plugs in Hambach?

What part of Ohio and which smart center? We've been waiting to hear an Ohio delivery for somebody and this is good news.

My question exactly; 30K miles for plugs? I think even standard plugs should go more than that. I have seen plugs on e-bay for $10 each (!) so if they're not platinum what are they? However, if you put 5K miles/year on your smart it'll be 6 years before the plugs are changed - not too bad.

Same deal with the mats, get something cheap until the real ones come in.

Break in note from the owner's manual. Just be gentle for the first 1000 miles. No driving 90 mph, vary speeds, don't floor it. First oil change at 10,000 miles.
Congrats spdickey
Two questions
  • Did you ask the dealer to enable the Daytime Running Lights?
  • What accessories did you get?
