Harley riders luvs the Smart

I have two HD Sportsters that are basically stock, one that is styled after the flat track racers of the 70's, it gets over 70 mpg. But I'm not a biker type person. I got them last summer while waiting for the smart. I hate driving anything that doesn't get good gas mileage and having to pay hard earned money to the oil people that are gouging us. I see that one Saudi sheik is building a 2 Billion dollar house! I hope he invites me over stay for vacation, seeing as I probably paid for a good portion of that when I was driving my Explorer.

I've driven my smart today and the weather is beautiful. Now it's time to ride my Harley.

In my garage is an H3, HD UltraGlide, HD Softail, HD Sportster, and the smart car. I'm use to stupid questions and looks when riding the Harley. A guy will watch me park, get off the bike, and take my helmet off then ask me, "You ride a Harley?" "Nope. I'm a figment of your imagination." One of the ones often asked, "Ain't you scared of riding that thing?" To which I'll usually have one of several replies one of which is, "You should see me drive my car!" Another is, "That's why I drive it and don't ride with someone else."

So yeah. There's a commonality between the questions people ask me as me as a Harley rider and as a smart car driver.

My husband has a Harley ultra glide he rides. I crushed my knees in 1999 and have knee replacements so I am getting the smart cabrio. It should be here any day now. I think Harley riders show good sense when it comes to their wheels.
