Has anyone heard from San Francisco Smart yet?

Nope and very frustrating, Went by today and still no new activity, there must be something behind the scene that is holding things up. Last word is before the end of the month "possibly"

It is frustrating, I just want to know if our car is in the first batches and have them agree to not drill the front bumper (and would also like to discuss the out the door price...)

No pressure on delivery of the car, but some kind of reply would be appreciated.

I called Smart USA and notified them that I have not personally heard from the SFO dealership within the 7 day period from receiving my email from Smart USA.
They stated they were due to open by the end of the month,possibly early February (let's hope its 2008).

On my way home from work today I noticed the smart Center San Francisco showroom is now packed full of new fortwo's. So a truckload must have arrived Late Thursday (17th) or Today.

I noticed them them a couple days ago, they actually arrived wednesday so they've been sitting on them for awhile. I saw 5 customer cars and 2 demo cars

- white/silver coupe
- blue/silver coupe w/red cloth
- blue/silver cab
- yellow/black coupe
- black/silver coupe
- silver/silver coupe
- red/black cab
