Saw it at Smart HQ last month. Dull, Drab, brown/gray. Like a bad taste in your mouth from the night before.

Guess I don't like it.

Yes, that is the new color, and it was very nice...almost makes me regret not getting it. There were actually a lot of them being made that day.

Is the grey similar to this grey? This is the Mercedes metallic grey from 2006. Too bad about the colour yellow. It definitely makes a statement on the road. Much easier to see it.

I have a 2006 Mercedes in Flint Grey, which looks like the color pictured. The 2009 Smart color is not a similar grey.

Hi, I picked my grey w/silver tridon on December 16th in Boston. She is beautiful! This is my second smart (my first was black/silver; now sold), but I find the grey/silver absolutely elegant!

Saw new gray and black one at dealer, yesterday. Had red interior. It's was ok. I'd bring back the yellow. Made the car pop. Small cars look better bright colors. Gray's look better on large cars.

The gray is a nice color for older folks, but it will be virtually invisible to other drivers at dusk or during a foggy day. DRL's will help, but drive defensively in the gray. I miss the yellow. The US Smart line needs more brighter color choices!

Watch it...

Us "Older Folks" like bright colors too...
I did see a truck load of smarts (they get a lot of cars on those big haulers) arrive at SF Smart 12/12 while in for service (smog valve). Some were the new Gray and the color looked to earthy for my older tastes.
