You two might be able to rent a trailer and fit both smarts on it. They are about the size of one car. And if you get a big enough one, then you can put both on one trailer. Split the costs on fuel and the trailer. A win win situation for the both of ya. Good luck anyhow. Hope it works out for the both of you in any case.
Then again, what is the odds of both of you living near each other? Migth be good idea, but if you don't both live within 25/50 miles of each other, my idea has no merit.
