Last night we were leaving Rite Aid and noticed someone standing next to our smart looking at it. Not uncommon for someone to be looking at the car, it is one of two that we know of in town so it does stand out. Anyway, the older man must not have known that we were nearby because he began to look inside our tinted coupe (hands cupped around his eyes to block the reflection kind of looking), this me a little uncomfortable. After looking in the window he reached for the door handle and pulled. At this point I hit the lock button on the key so that the lights came on he jumped back like the car was going attack him. He ended up talking to us for 10 minutes or so about how he remembers seeing them in Italy years ago.
Has this happened to anyone else? Who reaches to open the door in a well lit parking lot with people walking around nearby? I don't mind people looking, and I enjoy talking about the car, but who tries to get in the car.
