Have you had mechanical problems with your smart car?

We are all quick to hear and see posts regarding cars with problems but are less likely to here about smarts that have had no problems at all.

What has been your experience?

So far, with 3500 miles I have had no mechanical problems.

(I will knock on wood for all of us with no problems so far!)

So far, none to report at about 1,450 miles.

none here on our 2 smarts. one has 2700 miles, the other has 1100 miles.

Thee problems. One mechanical. One cosmetic. One philosophical. The first two were resolved so well that I decided to let the third one go.

the only problem I have, is all the people trying to take photos and or video of me on the freeway from 2ft away. at first it was amusing, now it is getting old fast , and somewhat dangerous.. come on people! it's just a d**n car! I can't wait 'til there are more of them on the road and people will have gotten over their infatuation with 'em.

2400 miles and not a single issue other than I can't find my car once in a while unless I look for the crowd in the parking lot. One guy even flagged me down from is driveway and a cop pulled up to scold me for stopping in the road. The guy who flagged me down took all the blame but the cop wasn't even amused.

get a life man, we were on a country road for pete's sake.

I'm glad to see this poll. While I did have an issue with my lil smartie it helps to put things into perspective with how many w/ issues vs. how many w/no issues.
