Headlight bulb upgrade

Has anyone changed their stock headlight bulbs for Silverstar or Philips ultra vision bulbs?
Is it worth it? Are they really brighter?

beacuase its got H7 bulbs and projector beams, I intend to do a VVME HID conversion when the day comes....I don't know that there is THAT much difference with non HID bulbs, and an HID conversion can cost the same as these bulbs these days.

I put in the silverstar ones a couple months ago. They are definitely brighter but I wouldn't call the difference dramatic.

Changed out to Silverstar a couple weeks ago. $19.83 each at Walmart. Definetly a lot brighter.

Now changing to Osram rallye 65w 2100 lumens

Here's another new H7 bulb option, Philips X-Tream Power for about $23 each.

Look's like it's the new brightness champ for DOT legal bulbs.
