Heated Seats?...

Are the heated seats worth it? and can you get it with any interior, or do you have to get the black leather seats?

I have the heated seats and they work pretty well. Not sure about what interior though.

They come with the comfort pkg which has the leather seats or you can add it as a line item when you order the fabric interior.

Oh and I think they are totally worth it

They were also available without the comfort package, as an option, on my red cloth interior. They did work magic during cold mornings, before the heater was able to warm up the cabin. The high setting is a bit hot after a couple of minutes, but then the lower setting is very comfy.

In Florida, all you have to do is get the leather. Then park outside with the shade open. Instant heated seats.

I didn't WANT the heated seats -- I mean, geez, I live in South Texas -- but to get the other upgrades I didn't have a choice. Maybe on the 2-3 days in February when it actually freezes they'll come in handy, but I consider them a waste of money. I'm a bit annoyed that the option packages were so non-optional. I'd have preferred more packages with fewer options each.

I pulled my lower back at work and the heated seats sure felt good on the drive home that night. I know the heat doesn't extend into the backrest but the warmth from the seat cushion radiated up far enough to warm up my lumbar.

You can get hypothermia in 70 deg water. The seat heaters are a nice shot of warm when you want it. In cooler weather they start warming you before the heater starts to work and by the time it is blowing toasty air you can shut off the seat heat. they do draw power and that is not free but a small price to pay for a true luxury. The heat pad on your lower back is especially nice after work... feel good just thinking about it.
