help! pushed the roof switch into the console

Hey- I got a question about my cabrio-

I was opening the roof and the switch popped out of place and into the console housing (in front of the gear shift. The roof up/down switch is its own assebly and is now loose. There is a little hole where it was, and if i reach into the hole I can operate the switch (barely).

Does anyone know how to pop off the housing and put the switch back in place?

Thanks!

If your smart center's service rep can't help (I don't think any of them are very experienced at this point), you might ask FQ101's help line: http://technibods.co.uk/FQHelp/

I believe you have 2 years or 24,000 miles before your warranty expires. You betta hurry!

Take it back and see how good the service department is and then make sure to report back. I know lots of people (including myself) will want to know about service turnaround.

I'll work it out! Nothing is broken as far as I know, just popped out. Although it does seem a little wierd that it would pop out in that direction, leading me to believe that a mounting nub broke.

Yup, I'm the lucky one! I'm going to put a whole bunch of photos and the story on my blog when I get a chance...

Instead of fooling with it yourself......look its a brand new car...please take everyones advise and have the dealer fix it under warranty so it will be back to spec. It will not hurt and Im sure you will feel better too.
