I like the whole "I have never engaged the ABS so why would I need it" line of reasoning. I have had cars with airbags now for a good many years and have never had an airbag deploy. I suppose whilst I am in the garage I might as well remove the airbags...

In fact, I have never needed a heart defibrillator before, either. I think I am going to have them removed from the building that I work in...
Evidence culled from this very forum strongly suggests that there are people who never use their brains. I think we should remove those organs since their owners probably were never going to use them anyway...

We'll have to wait; they're all out driving around in rush hour traffic right now...

Brain? What brain? Oh! THAT! I always wondered what that was in the jar in the back of the fridge...hard to tell though since I disconnected the light. Couldn't see any reason to pay all that money to have it on all the time like that. Every time I opened the door the light was already on!

Good news! I finally got the catalytic converter off of the car! I couldn't see what was being converted so I figured if I couldn't see it, how could it hurt me?

Wasn't that Abbie Normal's brain in the jar?

Nothing to convert...I'm still laughing over that one!

My parking area is at a little better than a 30 degree angle - without hill assist my smart would be sitting in my living room. - sheureka

The 1950 Studebaker had Hill Holder brake technology as well.

It was discontinued because people didn't use it much.

Best Regards,

Our 1981 Subaru 4x4 Wagon had hill assist and I found it came in handy more than a handful of times but spoiled me for driving cars with a normal system. Took me a while to unlearn the bad habits I learned from that car.

If you don't like hill assist, do what do.. Shift into neutral when you're at a light... As soon as you let off the break you can coast back into the car behind you as much as you like. Honest (almost did it today...)
