Hockey Puck & Spare Tire

Hey. Just bought a 2008 Cabriolet with only 3613 miles and LOVE IT !!

However, anyone have any idea what the "hockey puck" is on the windshield? Also, where is (if any) the spare tire?

I suppose I could check the manual but was wanting to hear from some other owners anyways besides I was having fun learning about how to use the convertible top and store the side rails, plus learning how to check the oil.

Thats for us folks too dumb to adjust the intermittant wiper speed; it decides when a wipe is needed! Does seem to work pretty good although I'd perfer to make my own decision.

The puck also works the lights when the switch is set to "auto". Not reliable if you prefer to run with your lights on all the time; sometimes in seemingly bright light, even sun, they come on and other times they don't.

Their is an air compressor and a can of slime under the passengers feet. You will find it on the way to the battery.

That kit under there is a replacement for a spare tire in a pinch.

Just like a camero

And here I thought this was going to be about having a hockey puck stored with a spare to use on the jack.

Hey if it works that's cool by me, never did like the idea of packing around a heavy piece of equipment that I almost never use. Maybe I shouldn't have said that. Is that area at the firewall like? That seems to be a panel that is loose.

TO ALL WHO RESPONDED . . thanks for the info. BTW, anyone know what's happening in KC (guessing Kansas City)? I read ppl talking about meeting up or going to KC and wondered what that is? A rally maybe ??

Hmmmmm....you have a point there. Not sure. Long time ago. Decades for sure. Slow leaks really that needed fixed but I had a small air compressor in the boot and pumped it up and drove it to a station and got it repaired. Cool. Or for this little feller would it be "kewl"
