So i have a question
Im going to go in november to sign up on the orphan list. But I cant get a car till March. Can they hold it for me in there garage? if i put down some money?
Call the dealership and ask how they administer their orphan list. It might be that when you get on the list doesn't really matter or that they'll but you on the list now for "call in March" so you'll be at the top of the call-up list then.
so do you think i can still put my name on the orphan list, then pass up a bunch of orphans till my time comes closer so i can still be on the top of the list?

Again, this depends on your dealer. Ask, it can't hurt. Maybe you can keep passing until you move down the list at just the right point for your timing.
Most dealers seem to administering their "orphan lists" in that IF you are offered one and don't take it, you go back to the bottom of the list! You will need to check with "your" dealer to be sure
I had a similar situation with my orphan. The Minnesota Dealer would not hold one for me, but I told then the date when I would be back in town from school. I got home on Saturday, they had two options of orphans for me. I took the blue one
