hooked up HID now problem with stereo?

hey guys maybe you can help me, i hooked up a HID kit from XENON VISION (a vendor on this site) and the install went great, all wires hooked up just fine and truley plug and play but what has happined is now alot of all my sterio channals are coming in with interfierence, their all full of static, when i switch of the lights my sterio comes in crystal clear flip on the lights back to being full of static, mp3 from ipod come in clear from what i can tell its as if the lights are cutting off the sterio sygnal, any ideas

i mounted the balasts on the firewall abouve the shock towers if that matters.

I know I read this somewhere on the forums. Was a while ago when HIDs were being installed at first. Do a search for HID and check each post. One should say how they fixed the same problem. Don't recall off the top of my head. Getting old, forget things. Hehe.

Sounds like RF interferance from the HID lights. Check and make sure all grounds are connected well.

yea i pushed all pluges very tightly into the right spots and have read people had issues but no body has really said a fix, could it be beacause their on the firewall, they are stainless steel boxes and atatched to the firewall, but only sterio reception is efected, anybody else have any ideas i can check again for the bad ground but i really dont think thats it but ill try again later

Do not have instructions and do not know how yours are mounted. If mounted to plastic you may try an additional ground strap to a good metal ground from the module.

they are two way taped to the firewall

the sterio will cut in and out just like your leaving a signal untill its totaly gone, by grounding how would you ground it, it seams not everyone had this issue i wonder if its a bad ballast?
