How difficult will a tach/clock install be?

After reading a topic on this board I realized that I didnt order the Tach/Clock on my Passion coupe. So my question now is how difficult it will be to install the Tach and Clock after I get the car?

As in Europe, initially those who did not order the car with the optional instruments will have a hard time getting them. But once the supply pipeline opens up, you can buy them and install by self very easily... On the 451s we will not have to get the Smart Techs to do any ECU programing as was necessary on the 450s... This will be a true plug and play install

Found photo instructions on how its done. Text is in Danish I think, but you get the point. Wiring is all ready there, the bezel is set up with knockouts for the instruments. Takes a torex screwdriver and a penny.

Thanks SPDickey! This makes me feel much better! My cousin works for Smart in Germany (Wink, Wink) so I may have an inside line on parts....

That's cool.
Keep us updated on the possibilities. I'd certainly do things like this myself if I could save a few bucks!!

Here's a UK source (English speaking I assume) for smart parts.

If anyone has a source for the "rev counter" and clock unit please PM me!

You could install a scangauge available at scangauge.com
I have used it for several years and like it. I have nothing to do with them at all just a satisfied owner of one.
