How fast have u driven your smart?

Just out of curiosity, I put the pedal to the medal ... my speedometer was registering about 92 MPH when I felt the "govern-out" start to "kick-in". I let off to a more sensible speed. My GPS showed a top speed of 89.9 MPH.

Got our Yellow up to 98 on the way to SEMA (Vegas). We have some mods on ours, so getting over 100 is not a problem. At 98 we were under 5,000 RPM with room to go.

Once the new turbo is in we should get up to 120! Just have to find a safe place to do that at.

I did not look at my tac - I'm not accustomed to driving at that speed and kept my eyes glued to the road!

How are you subverting the speed limiter?

To all law enforcement members and non members for that matter, This photo is Photoshopped on the computer and/or it is not my car. I never drive over speed limit.
