How to get a 450 alternator tested?

I've got a 2005 Euro model and need to get the alternator tested. It's a Denso with part number 63321658 and I've gone to Pep Boys and Advance Auto and neither would test it since don't have that car in their catalog. Any other make and model I could tell them to use which has the same specs? Is there a way I could test it myself by spinning the pully bolt with a drill and socket?

..the easiest way is to tested while in the car...I don't think you can spin it fast enough to see if it is in good working order...

I know that, it's not putting out anything while in the car. I wan't to make sure it's not a wiring harness problem.

..if no out-put while in the car the chances that it is a wiring issue is remote to say the least...unless some creature chewed through the wiring...
