This happened to mine several times as well, and I put it aside as hasty shifting. However, someone in one of the maintenance threads mentioned after their shifter was replaced, this didn't happen, so I wonder if it's related or a symptom of the numerous shifting mechanism problems they are having? I'll let you know when I get mine back if that's gone.
