I configured! More waiting again .....

It was literally 7 months from reservation till I got configuration email. I was wondering how long now will it be in months (estimate) till I actually take delivery.

I configured in October and the dealershio tells me that the car is due in sometime in January. I reserved in October 2007. It was faster buying 2 orphans!

wow, I reserved October 1, 2008 and got my config e-mail December 23. Less than 3 months. Before the config e-mail, my DDE moved from Dec 09 to Oct 09. Figure at this rate the car should show up mid-summer. I bought an orphan October 24, 2008 so I'm creating an orphan that the dealer said they can use.

I was only 3 months from reservation to configure, but my dealer told me 4 to 6 months for actual delivery. For me, it's going to be about 4 months.

I configured yesterday and today the DDE updated....April-June 2010! That would make it at least 18 months from reservation to delivery. Kinda strange it moved from Octobr 09 to April 2010. Are they really selling that many in China? Maybe that time frame will put me in line for a MHD

I'm not acutally waiting on it. It will be an orphan for the dealer to sell. I asked if they wanted the orphan or if I should cancel the reservation. Only reason I would sell or trade my 08 Passion would be for a MHD.
