I stopped into the King Dollar (everything is $1.09) and was browsing around, when I came across the most EXCELLENT cargo area solution!

I have had far too many trips home from the store and had all my groceries end up behind the seats. These things that they had at the dollar store are Hopkins Manufacturing Corporation Cargo Management Solutions Lock n Load Cargo Wedges. It's a package of three L shaped plastic pieces, and one side has hook velcro. You velcro the wedge to the cargo area carpeting, and it stops your stuff from sliding behind the seats!!

I looked on Hopkins Manufacturing's home page, and apparently they no longer make these wedges, but I'd be glad to go back and get all the rest of them from the dollar store and send them at cost plus actual shipping cost, and I'd bet someone has them on ebay or online somewhere!!

PS.. as I suspected; they are on ebay!!

They don't show that one on their website but do have this: Welcome to Hopkins Manufacturing Corp. - Storage and Organization - Consoles

Something similar to what you described is offered by smart I think.
