Yes you can change the solid panel with the poly clear roof... same exact technique as replacing the windshield glass.... BUT I bet you will not like the replacment roof cost from smart

I think the pure's roof is made out of 'non-metal' material.

Yep, it does...... wouldn't preclude sunroof install.

Have you asked your dealer? It is an option when you configure what lots of people have found is that that is the right time to buy due to high costs of doing it later

The pure roof is polycarbonate. It can be cut out like a standard screen and replaced with the clear roof very easily. I would imagine the clear 451 roof will be cheaper than the 450 roof which was glass. They were heavy and hard to transport.
