i think you should get rid of the car and find something else that doesn't upset you so much.
there is no practical reason for anyone to keep this car and stay unhappy with it.
get rid of it, make your investment back and move on with life.

Hey, be happy - that's 1 mpg better then we did......but we were averaging in the low 70's with the A/C on. oh well, cest la vie!

Seriously though if you're not happy you should sell it. Because really if that's the ONLY reason you bought it, you should go get a hybrid.

People that get 50mpg are 65mph drivers with little to no hilly drives. I've realized that and I'm still happy. Why? Because I still get to drive the way I do and get 35-40mpg.

Wow....what a rough crowd

In all seriousness, if you're doing 60mph up and down 35w or driving around 494, you should be getting around 42-47mpg.

I'm curious on how you calculated your MPG: Scangauge? Refill rate and amount? Bars?

Ya know, I can't bench press 500lbs. Therefore, it can't be done. No way! DON'T LIE TO ME!!

Seriously, sell the car to somebody who can drive...
