Ignorance is bliss.

The first 7 months were easy, when I knew nothing. Then I found you guys and all this talk about reservation #s and confirmation dates and delivery dates and orphands and dealer opening dates and delayed dates and***!!! I just can't stand it

I wish I knew nothing.

Now now, the doctor is in. Blissfully ignorant is not healthy. It is also treatable. Education cures all ingorance. More brain food. heheheh You have been idle to long, your Smart is on its way. Patience.

I totally understand. We take all this data here (SCOA) for granted in this computer age.....but for me it's still best to just hide and watch. The good side is there are many VERY knowledgable people here who can satisfy good questions with useful/helpful info to get me and my smart off to a great start when the time comes. I try not to get too involved arguing views and speculations and so on. Plus there are lots of fun stories now with, Gidget, "Raider", Regina and the snarky one, SmartShanna...to name a few.

Sure, lots of goodies; some a bit quite sharp, once in a while. But mostly a good way to satisfy curiosity and impatience. I'm now addicted to whatever comes up in "New Posts", hoping to learn something that will make me say "yes"!
But then, I have to remind myself that this is the beginning of a new distribution network. It's bound to have flaws. Nonetheless, most of those involved at all levels are motivated enough to make it work. And possibly work well.
Within months, the lubricant will have done its work. And, in the grand scheme of things, we will have gained a smart car! At a decent price too, considering that 1€=$1.50!
Now, let's see what has been posted since I last checked. Hopefully more good news like the one just published by Ethan from O'Brian, the Seattle smart center (smart center Seattle - O'Brien Auto Group entry #119).
