My bf bought a Saturn not too long ago, and they definitely negotiated the price. (Maybe they took it off the dealers fee?) I asked him if they charged a dealers fee and he said he couldn't remember. He didn't really seem to care

That may be the case, and they may do that. But from talking with the dealership yesterday that didn't sound like the case. Different dealers may be handling it differently? Maybe people on the orphan list who reserved earlier will get priority, but not just people who have reservations that haven't shown an interest in orphans. Who knows how it will play out. I don't mind waiting a bit longer to give priority to earlier reservers. Fair is fair. But I was a late reserver so anything's better than waiting til the end of the year ;)

Believe me, if I get an early one you'll hear about it. LOL

It'll be interesting to see what happens. Hope you get your car soon!
