Immeadiate Delivery at Beverly Hills

I took my Smart in for it's 20,000 mi. service today at the Beverly Hills Dealership. There was a 2009 Passion on the showroom floor of the service area with a flyer on the windshield that said- No Orphans-No waiting- Drive one today. The MSRP was $15,546. So I guess if you wanted one right now,it's not a problem.
Incidentally, MBBH did not have either front brake pads or airfilters in stock, I'll have to bring it back in.

You needed brake pads at 20k? I just did our 20k and the pads were barely worn..

Holy macaroni! Brake pads at 20k!? Ouch - just turned over 20k though I won't be letting the dealer service it, I may want to take a gander at them. I don't normally use the brakes too often anyway.

Sad they didn't have air filters either. Birmingham, AL was the same way when I went up there. Beverly Hills isn't alone in not stocking enough "A" stocking items (high turnover - cabin filter, oil filter, air filter, brake pads etc)

I'm not sure I need pads. The service manager said there's 20% remaining,but I don't believe it. They wouldn't lie to me,would they?

Just went through 20k service check. Pads and shoes are fine with wear at 30%. A2Jack.

At my 20 K my dealer said my pads have 30% left and I ride my Smart hard and I break hard all the time. Currently turned about 22,000K and breaks are still good but I think will need changing before 30K service.
