Yeah, the hotels were expensive and I really never travel that way, but I figured what the heck. For once, it was nice to be treated like a rock star. Usually, I just travel and look for a Zimmer Frei sign and stay there which makes for an equally interesting trip.
Going in July was a bonus as the weather was unusually nice (no rain). With the Euro around 1.6 it's getting tough to take though.
