Thanks to the help of this forum and many of its members, we have an early look at the ForTwo's reliability.
Based on responses from 33 owners, the Smart ForTwo appears to require very few repairs, at least initially, with an annualized rate of 21 successful repair trips per 100 vehicles.
This is an extremely preliminary result. These cars on average have only 1,100 miles on them, and people have only owned them for two months at most, and often only a week or two. In other words, this pretty much measures any repairs required at delivery or soon after.
We'll have a more meaningful result with the next update, in August.
The more of you that can participate, the more precise that result will be.
