Is your quote with multiple vehicle discount? I got mine from state farm as well and it'll be around $477 also. My agent told me whenever I get my Smart just give her a call and she'll add it to my policy.

I got $278 /six months quoted from AAA, including multiple car and homeowner's discount.
PLUS my agent reviewed my insurance and I actually got my rates lowered by $360 dollars every six months for the 3 cars AND another six hundred/year on homeowners.
In fairness to AAA, this person wasn't my agent before, but she sure will be now!

I am not sure I really understand the point of so many comparing quotes from different, and sometimes the same, insurance companies. There are so many things such as driving records, age, location, other vehicles, coverage, etc. that go into the totals, isn't it really pretty meaningless?

Geico quoted me $405/6 months.. I have 3 other cars with them..

Yes, it is kind of useless!Insurance rates vary from person to person in any given area.

What is useful is simply what companies will or will not underwite, and in what states. That said, USAA WILL in VA, and I haven't heard that anyone else WON'T. *** Beyond that, each individual has to make their own arrangements.

*** That info should be of interest to VA residents only.

That ticks me off because they told me no way just a few days ago and I called a few times to confirm. I used to work for them and I have been with them for years and I don't want to leave them.

Did you mean 6 months for your quote? They do not do yearly policies.
