I have Progressive and my insurance is $160 per 6 months with a $500 deductible. I don't know what that's all about with your location. Maybe you have a bad driving record? Live in a bad area? Have a low deductible? Shop around.
Keep in mind your trans am is only worth 4-6k anymore. Insurance premiums are directly related to the cost of a total loss(all other factors being the same).
I saved 300 dollars every 6 months on my smart vs my 2004 civic it replaced(state farm all the coverage you can get).
Bingo! Insuring two basically brand new cars with full coverage that comes out to $425 per car for 6 months - is not too bad. I believe my quote for the smart was in the upper $300s / 6months.
WOW, it would suck to live in Florida, I have progressive, full coverage $100 deductible, and they pay off the loan if totalled, $148.00 every 6 months.
