Insurance for temporary import Smart Xblade?

I plan to ship my Smart Crossblade from Britain to Florida shortly for 6 months but I'm having trouble getting insurance for it. Obviously it's not US spec.
Anyone have any suggestions for obtaining insurance for it?
AL

Thanks sato7, tried them but unfortunately:
"current guidelines prevent us from doing so. Our guidelines require that you have a valid United States drivers license and have another daily use car when in Florida in order to qualify for our program. Unfortunately, if you will be using the 2003 British registered vehicle for daily transportation during the six month period, we could not provide you with coverage.

I have no idea about the insurance but if you are able to get it here let us know... that there is worth the 6 hour trip to Key Largo.

Garage
Saw a post where someone bringing a bike over from the UK used Sentry insurance; might be worth a call: 1-800-373-6879.

Can you get it registered? I think if you get a DL and get the crossblade registered, then you might have better luck with insurance.

Keep us posted!

This'll be our second trip to Florida with "The Blade."

Last time, 2004-05, was great, UK to Jacksonville FL shipping, US Customs & insurance (with AIG) no problem, but this time insurance proving difficult.

It might be possible to register the car in FL temporarily (it's entering the USA as a temporary import, so may stay only 12 months max) we're only in Key Largo for 6 months, it could take most of that.

As for driver license, my Florida license has expired & is not renewable because of post-9/11 laws so am obliged to use my UK licence.
