the guys name is Sylvain Pioutaz, a director and film maker, and he calls it "fausse pub" which is fausse publicite, or fake advertising on his website.


The credits say it was filmed in the 13th arrondissemont in Paris, which is where the Place d'Italie is located....SE side along the Seine...

You may have just pointed out a difference between a Euro spec smart and what we will get here. I don't know about the smart, don;t have mine yet, but most of the cars I have owned in Europe only had one back up light, as there was a rear (red) fog light in the left rear space that we might fill with a second reverse light.
