iPhone replaces Scangauge & DashDaq

Anyone using the free or $40 version of iPhone app called REV or REV LITE yet?
It looks pretty cool.
Hardware transmits (via WiFi) to your iPhone all OBD functions.
Displays speed, horsepower, fuel consumption etc.
Check out this link: DevToaster - Rev - iPhone app development, Great iPhone apps, and more
Video of features:

It doesn't work until you buy the $140 odb adapter....

and even then it won' have the ability to program my cruise control. SGII is still the better way to go IMO

It looks like it's pretty helpful and could be (not sure here -- just sayin' "could be") more accurate than the SGII with regards to fuel consumption since the SGII has to be configured to either 8.0 gallons or 9.0 gallons, but not fractions thereof.

Gallons isn't an issue now that we know the tank is 10 gallons.

iphone $199
adapter $140
data plan $60/month

Over $1K for the first year - vs. $159 for scanguage II. This is a good deal why?

Don't forget the iPhone can also be used as a navigator. Not that my wife has allowed me to try hers that way...
