iPod holders + radio 10

Before I pickup the Smart 6+ months from now I would like to buy an ipod holder so I don't have to reach/ search for my iPod Touch whenever I want to change songs (distractions!)

Does anybody have any ideas?

Also, is radio 10 worth the extra $$$? What extras does it have?

Does Radio 9 work with the Smart Sound System Upgrade (subs + Tweeters)

-Thanx everybody!

I installed a second 12v outlet in the cubby between the steering column and the radio and we're using a TuneBase for iPod. It charges the ipod and feeds the aux to the radio. Works great!!!

when you plug in your ipod does the cord come out from the glove compartment?
I have an iphone, so I dont want to have my phone in the cubby. I was thinking of just buying a ipod shuffle, just to tose in there.

If you buy a long enough cord, you can have it come out of the glove box, as long as it's not too thick, you want the box to close!

I drilled a hole in the glove box and ran the cord out the back. I hold my iPhone with a Naja from Accessory and Product Design Company | THOUGHT OUT Company

they look cool, where do you coil the stand around/ where did you put it?
-can a cord come out of the box (closed) without making a hole?

Posts 4 & 21... will give you an idea of where to run a cable out of the glove compartment without drilling.

Didn't see this till now... if you remove the radio/ac cover there is plenty of room to run the aux cord over to the driver side of the car... no wires and no drilling... there's a small opening just by the glove box that is just the right size for the wire. I'll post pics when the wife brings back my car tonight... funny how she steals it Monday thru Friday.
