Actually there are a few things I like about the little bugger.
The optional CVT - I've been driving one on my Murano and I love the way it
doesn't shift. Just goes smoothly up to speed as the engine RPMs fall off.
Toyota reliability - my Mom drove an '83 Celica Supra Coupe for 23 years. Most maintenance was to the A/C unit; all other problems were minor in nature.
What I don't like - the small space inside. Seats four? It can barely fit a kid behind the driver. No space behind the rear seats - maybe enough room for a briefcase or umbrella.
Only 67 hp? Jeez - the smart has 71 for the same displacement.
Manual transmission? OK, I guess you
can get the
optional CVT. . .
Bottom line - would I buy one?
Yeah - if the smart wasn't available . . .
