Brookfield, WI police searching for Smart car involved in hit-and-run crash

WITI-TV, BROOKFIELD - Brookfield police are investigating a hit-and-run accident that occurred on Pilgrim Rd. just south of Lisbon Wednesday afternoon. Police say two vehicles were involved in a road rage-type incident.
One of the vehicles left the roadway just south of Lisbon and rolled over. The driver of that vehicle, a 46-year-old Menomonee Falls man, was ejected. He is being treated at Froedtert Hospital for his injuries.
The other vehicle that left the scene is described as a 2009 Smart car convertible, black with chrome wheels. Police say the driver of that car is a male, white, 50-60 years old with thinning gray hair.
Officers closed off the area and continue to search for the fleeing car.
