You're kidding, right? Check out the admission fees for Americade or any other national rally sometime. $50 is a bargain.

OK.. not a tough question. IF everything was perfect, Stars aligned, job OK, family not sick, (feel free to add more) would you go???? Doesn't look like there is any money exchanging hands , or sign your name in blood yet. Looks to be just a gauge of what turnout COULD be. 10, 100, 1000???? don't read more into it than the question says.

Yeah, I mean have you even been to Six Flags: Great America before? You'd be broke before you even enter the gate!
$15 parking
$57 addmission
$30+ food, games, pay to play
A total RIP OFF!!!

The question asks Will I attend. It seems you're suggesting we do read more into the question and answer if we would like to attend. I'd like to very much. But not if I'm working in Hawaii.

Still, have to agree with John H. It's too early to be saying "I am going" but for a better word to say "I want to go". We're talking about a large gap in time here. And yes, many of us will be there but some of us would figure out at the last moment that it's impossible. Like what happened to me when the Dells Rally came around. I was pretty sure that it was going to happen until those final weeks when some things just came crashing down and left me smartless.
P.S. I voted yes with hopes that I'll be able to go.

We appreciate the difficulty in committing to an event so far in advance. We are trying to guage interest so that we can determine if it is worthwhile to commit our time effort and resources into this event. A Yes would indicate that if everything is OK in your life and schedule you would be likely to attend and a No indicates you simply have no interest in such an event in such a location.
As to the cost it is designed to cover the actual expenses of the event. If income exceeded expenses the difference would be used for registration gifts, door prizes and raffles.
Please help us out by sharing your interest in attending so that we can make an intelligent decision as to move forward or not.
Although you may not want to commit to such an event until much closer to the time of the event it can't happen without months of planning and we need to know if that planning is worthwhile.
There is no committment on your part until such time as we would put up an event web-site and open it to formal registrations.

Perhaps those on the East Coast could have a 'Wagons West'?

Hoping for at least four major convoys, jumping off from Denver, St. Louis, Omaha (maybe Des Moines) and either Tulsa or Ok City. PM me if you'd like to help in those areas. Thanks!

Put me down for a YES, and that is my final ans.
MINI coopers did a "Mini's takes the states" road trip from Monterey, Calif to some place on the east coast, maybe Conn.?
We Mini owners who could not go, all across the U.S. jumped in when they came closer to us. We also planned/held activities for them while they were in our cities. Car wash for them, tire check and airing, maps to activies that might be interesting for them while in our city etc.
We Smarts could do that. I'd love to join a caravan from Tx or Ok etc.

Are any of those place on the Eastern Half of the USofA? If I do go, it would be from New Jersey to Kansas. I believe those places are out of my way.
