It's crunch time, my car is in!

I received a call from Smart Center Alexandria today notifying me that our car was in! We're waiting for a callback and hope head up that way on Saturday. I've been relaying some of the car's problems to my wife over the past months and she's having second thoughts, but I'm still pumped. Although I must admit, living 50 miles from the dealer is a bit disheartening if troubles arise. I'm hoping she falls back in love with them once we see it.

Has anyone had regrets since their purchase?

My wife turned thumbs down on the car because of the diciness in gusting winds. Since I don't want to give her my MINI, I'm trying to sell the smart on eBay.

None here. Have had is since mid January. Reactions are still unbelievable. I drove by a large group of middle school kids and they all started to jump up and down yelling and giving me a thumbs up as I drove by. Really funny!!!

40 miles is not enough road driving to judge performance IMHO

Not to hijack but that's too bad that she couldn't acclimatize -I hope others are aware of what light little cars are like and don't expect something else.

(Funny thing is I felt similarly about the Mini in a way; in taking corners quickly it felt high and top heavy and gave me no confidence compared to what I was used to.)

It probably would do a lot better if it were lower to the ground and wider tires.

I am really sorry, lhoboy!
I have put your auction on my watch list, however, and I am local to you so you never know...
