Don't let it bother you, I have a feeling misinformation about the Smart among the general populace will persist. Just the other day I was sitting it it reading a book while waiting for the spouse and I heard various people spouting all kinds of bad info (its electric, it had to be modified to meet safety standards, etc). At the time I simply didn't feel like interrupting any/all of the individuals to correct them. The interesting part is that although I was clearly sitting there nobody tried to ask me anything (which is a refreshing display of respecting someone's space actually), one guy even starting knocking on the outside of the car, as if to see what it was made of (he definitely was not trying to get my attention, I looked straight at him and he looked past me) - now that was annoying
